brother-in-law, Duggie Wakefield, in this bathing skit.

Gracie helped sew sequins on the black silk organdie dress she
wore for her solo act at her fifth Royal Variety
Performance.
When this picture was taken the score was 38.000 up with
7.000 to go.
Sheila Morris Aza (centre), daughter-in-law of Gracie's
manager, was called in to help.

performance on 13th November 1950. In the Royal Box are the King and Queen,
Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret; The house is packed with distinguished
people from every sphere of life. At the microphone, making her fifth appearance
in Royal Variety, is Gracie, First Lady of the Music Hall.

introduced to the Royal family. Here she has just met
the King, Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret.
