Gracie in New York



Gracie with her best pal and minder!


First appearance onstage in America.

Gracie wrote this song whilst in America in 1930


 1930
Gracie greeting her mother on the quayside after returning from her first trip to America.  An ill prepared and frightened Gracie faltered a little at first, but after her two-week run she proved yet again that sheer grit and talent could win through - and was a huge hit.
