Here's a toast Mr Wilson we think of you with pride and all your great achievements with a dear wife by your side. There were steep hill to climb and many paths to tread, throughout a stormy passage you have kept a level head. Now the tide has turned it flows the other way, prospects for the future do not seem so gay. Whatever may arise in the coming years you have no cause for heartache and tears. Defeat is not degrading or a shattered dream, the foundation was laid by the Socialist team.

Now you are Premier dear Edward Heath how many promises will you bequeath. Accordingly our troubles are over, a Tory vote will keep us in clover. Wages go up taxes come down, jobs in profusion throughout every town. Men no longer strike or nurse discontent on economic recovery their ego is bent. It all sounds like a wonderful dream, the foundation was laid by the Socialist team.
